中國山東省最近興起了一種特別團體，許多老年人會穿著統一色調的衣服，並且直接在車道健行慢跑，當地人稱作是「老人暴走團」相當危險，儘管警方不斷協調取締，但是仍會有團體無視繼續健行，卻沒想到8日就發生了一起意外，暴走團被一名三寶駕駛直接撞上，最後共造成1死2傷悲劇。

綜合媒體報導，山東省臨沂市涑河北街8日清晨5時許，當地一名董姓女計程車司機行經該地路段時，遇上一群正在晨跑的老人暴走團，結果疑似因操作不當車輛失控，竟然直接衝進正在慢跑的人群中，導致其中1名商姓男子死亡，另外2名丁姓、王姓男子受傷，肇事駕駛董女依交通肇事罪已被警方刑事拘留。

老人暴走團是當地最近興起的一種健身團體，普遍會排著整齊隊列在道路上慢跑，主要由中老年人組成，穿著統一色調的衣服、腰包式播放器，喊著口號場面相當壯觀。因為暴走團在快車道上疾走相當危險，當地警方一直有出面協調場地，建議去學校、公園鍛鍊身體，避免在馬路上影響車輛行駛。

當地網友對「暴走團」行為褒貶不一，但是多數人都覺得這種團體相當擾民，有人說：「有些暴走團竟在機動車道上暴走、逆行！」、「跑步為什麼要影響其他人？」、「有些人不顧安全直闖紅綠燈！」、「我個人不反對健身，但當一群人每天從你家附近時不時喊著口號經過時，還是讓人煩。」
